Curating a mood for your wellness creates a personal attachment to your wellness journey. Finding an aesthetic can help make your wellness journey enjoyable! Designing and sticking to a consistent theme can help you achieve your wellness goals! Picking a theme can allow you to choose a color scheme that can invoke emotional change when pursuing activities associated with your aesthetic. We dug deeper into wellness aesthetics, and this is what we found! We hope you find something that hits close to home. Choosing an aesthetic helps push the desires that you want for your wellness. Read each article and see which one calls out more to you.
Choice #1: French Country
There has been such a fascination with the beautiful architecture of Paris and the beauty of the French countryside, so it’s only evident that the French countryside hit our list for one of our wellness aesthetics! What we love about the French countryside aesthetic is its rustic, cozy, and elegant feel. To create a wellness space that curates this look, adding tons of flowers in large vases can bring the farm-side flower bed into your home! Large open windows with tons of natural lighting are another way to create the countryside effect when looking into your home. Not to mention the additional Vitamin D in the mornings or evenings. The color scheme that we’re looking for here is listed below. Light, warm colors, with creams, light greens, and possibly lavender. This aesthetic brings out the desire for home cooking and baking, which could be helpful if you’re looking to enhance and enrich yourself with healthy and happy food.
Choice #2: Spanish Colonial
This has recently become popular with the rise of interest in old Spanish-style homes and apartments dating back to the 20s. Many of these Spanish-style homes have large windows and archways for entrances. Brown tile was popular for flooring that creates depth with neutral walls. Large gates and dark-colored chandeliers set the mood for a dark but seductive scene. Think red brick roofs and rose bushes. Gardening is essential to maintaining this Spanish-style look, specifically roses. This may be your aesthetic if you’re looking for outdoor activities and want a fun project. Whether you’re creating a mini or big hacienda, the warmth of this aesthetic creates a leisurely feel meant for relaxation and outside enjoyment. This Spanish feel should encourage more quality time with family and friends and a lot of inner work, whether journaling outside or tending to the garden.
Choice #3: Industrial
The industrial aesthetic brings your interior a darker but inner working feel. There is a lot of GRIT associated with industry that brings motivation to work, grind, and a sense of organization. We see a lot of copper, piping, and red brick. Since this aesthetic is more about inner work, we want to bring oxygen to us, so indoor plants are very popular with this aesthetic. Consider industrial if you like to advance your career, focus, or self-motivate yourself. The architecture associated with it is straightforward and focused on goal orientation.
Choice #4: Mediterranean
Think coast of Italy. As you can tell, we’re curating our listings from locations or industries because these carry the aesthetic as their identity. They embody the character of the aesthetic. The Mediterranean is very relaxed, and we tend to feel a lot of coastal luxuries, like lying by water. Water is crucial to this aesthetic, whether you are near or focused on hydration. Detoxification is associated with the need for water renewal. Lastly, we should include organic foods such as oils, fruit, and fish. Maybe you’re looking for a more wholesome way of living and caring for your needs. The color scheme is similar to French Country, but we’re adding water and bright colors for the pop-up energy we want to receive. Sunsets and lively evening pleasures should be sought out.
Conclusion
We hope you understand why we chose environments for wellness aesthetics. We are mainly adaptable beings, so lifestyle and geography matter. That's why we selected several areas of the world and industries that embody the character that you're trying to become. We have to analyze those places' characteristics to see what we can adopt to better ourselves. Observing the lifestyle associated with a place and its design will help us create an optimal scenario for our individual wellness goals.
